Southern Visas is a preparation and organisation tool for the Australian onshore 820/801 partner visa. It organises the requirements published by the Department of Home Affairs, explains the published process for obtaining each document, and tracks your progress.

Southern Visas is not a law firm and not a registered migration agent. It does not provide immigration assistance, migration advice, or legal advice, and it does not assess your individual circumstances or your eligibility for any visa. Southern Visas is not affiliated with the Department of Home Affairs. For advice on your individual circumstances, consult a registered migration agent — search the OMARA register.

Government requirements, fees, and processing arrangements change. Southern Visas links to the original published sources and records when each fact was last checked, but the Department of Home Affairs and the issuing authorities remain the authoritative sources. Where a detail is still being verified, Southern Visas shows a “details being verified” state rather than an unconfirmed figure.

You can start without an account: quiz answers are held against an anonymous session. Saving your plan with an email address, or purchasing, links the plan to that address. You are responsible for keeping access to that email account.

Southern Visas charges a one-time fee, shown before checkout and processed by Stripe. The fee covers access to the document walkthroughs and tracking tools. It does not include any government charge — including the visa application charge, which you pay to the Department of Home Affairs directly — or any fee charged by a document-issuing authority.

You can delete your account from the settings page at any time. Deletion removes your quiz answers, plan, statuses, and profile from our systems.

Don’t use Southern Visas to do anything unlawful, to probe or disrupt the service, or to access another person’s data.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Beyond those rights, Southern Visas provides the service as described above and is not responsible for decisions made by the Department of Home Affairs on any application.
